The Shopping Village... new to this edition of Teva Extreme Outdoor Games

In addition to beautiful landscapes and exciting sports, the Canavese region offers a rich and significant choice of tradition foods and wines.  Thanks to the initiative coordinated by the local shops association, ASCOM, it will be possible to taste and buy locally produced specialties on Saturday June 12 and Sunday June 13 at the Shopping Village located at the Whitewater Kayaking stadium, the main venue of the events.

The shops represented include:

Nella Cioccolato:  Treat yourself to this simple but rich pleasure; savor the old-time flavor of chocolate made with traditional methods. (www.nellacioccolato.it)

Vivi Andrate:  an area dedicated to the fabulous typical products of the small town of Andrate:  corn flour for polenta,  cow and goat cheeses, and the delicious, sweet specialities of Andrate: torcetti, paste di meliga and canestrelli.

Hill towns around the lake:  experience the emotion, scents, tastes and traditions of this enchanted region – Erbaluce wine, asparagus and more…

Pasticceria Casa del Dolce di Gaida:    don’t miss out in the locally renown “eporediesi” (hazelnut biscuits, crisp on the outside but soft in the middle) and the famous “polentina di Ivrea” (a delicately flavored corn flour cake topped with a thin layer of orange flavored honey).
