Special Event for KIDS

Junior MTB – Saturday 13 June , 2010

Start:  10.00 a.m. from the Whitewater Stadium of the Ivrea Kayaking Club

Course:  2 km ring around the city, start and finish lines are at the Whitewater Stadium

Participants:  maximum 200 participants

This is a non-competitive mountain bike race for children over an easy 2 km course through the streets of the town.  The race has been designed to be a type of sports festival,  and not a competitive event.

The participation fee of 2 euro will be donated to charity to celebrate solidarity and friendship as well as sports.

Participants can register for the event by sending and e-mail to segreteria@tevagames.it  or directly at the race office located at the Ivrea Kayaking Club in the weeks before the race.

Participation will be limited to 200.

JUNIOR RUN  - Sunday 13 June 2010

Start:  10.00 a.m. from the Whitewater Stadium of the Ivrea Kayaking Club

Course:  2 km ring around the city, start and finish lines are at the Whitewater Stadium

Participants:  maximum 200 participants

This is a non-competitive running race for children designed to involve the smallest would-be athletes and their families and to create an alternative to the customary races reserved for more professional athletes.  The race will be over an easy course through the city streets.

The participation fee of 2 euro will be donated to charity to celebrate solidarity and friendship as well as sports.

Participants can register for the event by sending an e-mail to segreteria@tevagames.it, or directly at the race office located at the Ivrea Kayaking Club in the weeks before the race.

Try it out!  MTB Course – Sunday 13 June, 2010

Throughout the morning, young riders with and without previous experience can try out a MTB course that features small wooden ramps and various skill challenges.  Those who would like to experience the thrill of the course will be assisted by the National MTB Instructors of the Italian Cycling Federation – the Moreinic Amplitheater of Ivrea School, who will be happy to share the tricks of the trade with the small cycling enthusiasts.

Bring your bicycle and a helmet.

Next to the climbing wall used for the boulder competitions, another artificial climbing wall will be available for young people that want to experience the emotions of bouldering.  The activity will be closely supervised by the Alpine Guides of the Ivrea Outdoor group
